Code Handle ASSA–ABLOY Group

Code Handle can be used in both commercial and residential buildings. These elegant, modern door handles are particularly suitable for use in shared facilities, such as photocopy rooms, archives and recreation rooms.

Code Handle is an easy, convenient fitting which regulates access during the daytime (when the door is unlocked) on doors which are locked using a locking cylinder at night.

Door is always secured when Code Handle is combined with a self-locking lock.

Security lock (security grade 7 according to EN 12209)with more than 1.000.000 key combinations. The lock is equipped with a hardened hook bolt, which is locked by turning the key 360°. The patented key can only be removed when the deadbolt is fully locked or retracted. The hookbolt protrudes 20 mm. The lock can be easily installed into the same mortise as ABLOY 428 security lock.

ABLOY PROTEC

The Protec is a disc-detainer lock made by Abloy. The Protec uses nine or eleven discs that interface with a sidebar. One of the main features of the Protec is a "Disc Blocking System" that locks discs in place and makes various forms of attack more difficult.








The Protec is considered by many to be one of the best mechanical locks on the market. Videos of certain flaws and defeats have been shown on the Internet, but none have been publicly verified by a reputable source.
The Protec is the latest in the Abloy disc-detainer line, succeeding the Abloy Exec.

The Protec works by using angled bitting cuts on the key to properly rotate discs. The key is inserted and rotated 90°; the angled cuts on the key in rotate the discs in the lock. If all the discs are rotated to the correct position the sidebar can fall into the discs and the plug can be rotated. Washers are placed between discs to ensure that the key rotates each disc individually.

ABLOY NOVEL is a new high security cylinder system from Abloy featuring a patent-protected rotating disc mechanism, designed especially for use in distribution channels.

Incorporating a wide range of cylinders to suit all door types and complemented by high security padlocks, ABLOY NOVEL is a 2-way, patent-protected cylinder mechanism from Abloy designed to provide cost effective security - whilst maintaining Abloy's reputation for strength and quality.

Replication of keys and key cutting is strictly controlled, as they can only be created with a related keycard at an authorized Abloy Centre.
